Elevate Rx providers prescribe GLP-1s because they are proven to be the safest and most effective medication for sustainable weight loss, especially when combined with Elevate Rx’s lifestyle changes.
Although some GLP-1s require injection, most members find them painless, quick, and easy to administer. Injectables are not only more effective, but they also have fewer and safer side effects than other weight loss medications.
Your Elevate Rx provider will consider your medical history and insurance coverage to determine the best GLP-1 for you, and can also prescribe an oral GLP-1 option if injections are not suitable. The Elevate Rx Medical Team is available to answer any questions about GLP-1s and address any other medical concerns throughout your membership.
The medications prescribed by Elevate Rx are FDA-approved GLP-1s, which are stimulant-free, non-habit forming, and clinically-tested.
These medications have very rare side effects, with most individuals not experiencing any. Nausea is the most common side effect, which usually goes away within a few weeks. If you do experience side effects, you can contact your Medical Team for support.
Less than 5% of people in recent clinical trials discontinued GLP-1 medications due to side effects. If you experience side effects that make you ineligible for the program, you can choose to continue with a non-GLP-1 medication called metformin (if appropriate) or receive a partial refund based on the time you participated in the program.
Labs help your Clinician to better understand your medical history and the best treatment path for you.
If you’ve recently done lab work, you can upload it for your Clinician. If you don’t have recent labs, your Clinician will order you a metabolic lab panel, which you can complete at a LabCorp location.
Elevate Rx doctors can prescribe a variety of different weight management medications tailored to your unique biology, behaviors, and preferences.
Your Clinician will work with you to explain the specific side effects you could encounter with your specific medications.
The availability of medications and access to benefits depends on the membership plan that an individual selects.
Some plans include medications and full access to all our benefits, while others allow individuals to purchase only the GLP-1 medications without full membership.
